Valliguières is a peaceful village in the Gard, just 10 minutes from the famous Pont du Gard. Ideally located near the highway, it offers easy access to Nîmes, Avignon, Arles, Montpellier, or even the coast.
The village has everything you need: a local grocery shop, a friendly restaurant, and a tasting room to discover local wines—perfect for a simple, authentic, and enjoyable life.
Valliguières is also steeped in history. Right next to the house stands the village’s 12th-century castle. My home is built within the very walls of this medieval fortress. This unique setting immerses you in an atmosphere full of charm and character, with old stone walls, quiet lanes, and views of the surrounding garrigue.
Just 20 minutes away, Uzès is a charming small town celebrated for its rich heritage, cobblestone streets, shaded squares, and especially its Provençal market—one of the finest in the region. Don’t miss its medieval Duchy, the Tour Fenestrelle, and the Jardins du Duché.
A few kilometers farther, Saint-Quentin-la-Poterie is a renowned craftsmen’s village famous for its pottery workshops. Wander through galleries, local boutiques, and enjoy a coffee on one of its cozy terraces.
For nature lovers, the Gorges du Gardon are nearby. This stunning gorge offers hiking trails, kayaking routes, and crystal-clear swimming spots amid wild, dramatic landscapes.
